Fall scarf - suggestions welcome!

I would love to make a "lofty" scarf to wear this fall before I get the heavy stuff out!  I'm looking to do something with worsted weight that will crochet up quickly.

This is what I came up with this morning before work with some ILTY and my fav. K hook....

don't know if I love it quite yet and am looking for suggestions on an easy pattern to use.  We're driving up to WNY tomorrow afternoon so something that could be worked on while in the car would be the best!
